I Can See for Miles and Miles: Garrowby Hill

Acrylic and graphite on canvas, in white wood tray frame. 600 x 600 mm (framed size 635 x 635 mm).

Garrowby Hill rises up beyond the Vale, clearly visible on my drive to the studio. From the top, you can see for miles, as far as the Dales in a vast panorama.

This painting is a development of my en plein air painting, done in July – the fields tinged with pinks and russet tones.
