Plein air painting in acrylic, charcoal and chalk on Clairfontaine acid free paper. Mounted and framed in a grey wood frame behind ArtGlass*. Framed size: 685 x 380 mm (visible artwork: 540 x 235 mm).
This piece was painted en plein air (outside on location) on a warm, windy day in July, high on the hillside above the estuary. The tide was receding, the smell of warm bracken surrounded me and the stonechats sang.
