Description
Due to their popularity, I am offering a number of workshops at Birkdale Farm, Terrington this year:
Wildflowers and Rolling Hills Sketching and Botany Days (full-day and NEW half-day)
Plein Air Day (NEW)
Fungi Sketching and Botany Day
Enjoy guided observations and sketching on a beautiful farm in the rolling Howardian Hills with Kate Pettitt (artist) and Frances Standen (conservationist, farmer and protected landscape management specialist). Frances will tell you all about the plants and wildlife in front of you while you work, allowing you to understand the place and flora of the landscape you are drawing/painting in more depth. Kate will guide your observations and techniques to help you to collect useful visual information, work effectively outside, and explore your mediums.
