Watercolour charcoal and chalk on heavy acid-free paper. Just over A3 in size, the painting is framed in a 20 mm black wood frame, in a white acid-free mount behind glass. Framed size 500 x 400 mm.
This piece was painted plein air, sitting in the harbour, on the footings of the Roundhouse and Capstan at Sennen Cove, Cornwall. The fishing boats were pulled up high on the slope, away from unusually high tides which had been whipped up by strong winds.
