I love these entries in the comments book!
York Open Studios was hard work, but so much fun to take part in. I shared my studio with Jess from North Doodle Company and her gorgeous illustrative work. The sun came out and together we saw 997 visitors through the door over the four days we were open.
We talked to people from all over the world; tourists, locals, galleries, budding young artists, people just starting to paint, established artists and those who just love it. We saw old friends and made new ones.
Of course, now my studio is clean and tidy I can’t find a thing! I’m sure it’ll get back to its normal state shortly.
Here are some pics of the event (and evidence that it can be tidy!)…
